When playing Ghost Recon in a team role communications are essential. GR is a fun game but it’s even more fun to play it and win.
The best way to communicate with you team is through voice comms. Myself and my clan use Ventrilo. It’s a free comms package that provides better clarity than Roger Wilko and we have found lags less than Team Speak. You can download it at http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php
If you are unable to use voice comms or as an additional back up you should configure your in play chat messages. This allows you to display a pre-defined message to players when in game by simply pressing one on the number pad keys.

Enemy on Map
Suggestions are
Check for short spawn
Enemy to my right
Enemy to my left
Enemy in front of me
Enemy behind me
Oh and most importantly
"Stop shooting me you fool" I am on your team
There are 10 quick chat keys available use them they help a lot!
